*17~18 (Official Rally Cancelled 2009) Messila Valley Balloon Rally-  Located in the heart of Las Cruces, New Mexico.  This rally is known for the beautiful flights above the pecan trees, vineyards and rambling southwestern homesteads.  The Wicker Clan will have their kilts and have a great time with their sponsors. We are planning a Non-rally fun fly this year.

*21 Skydive New Mexico jumpers will enjoy the fourth annual gathering of the Wicker Clan balloons.  Scheduled Feb 21, 2009  Come crew and watch as the Skydive New Mexico teams jump from their favorite Wicker Clan hot air balloon. This is by request as we had more divers that didn't make it in the January jump.

26~30 Snow Down Balloon Rally, In the beautiful Durango Valley.  At this invitational balloon rally balloonist enjoy floating down the sometimes covered meadow.  On Sunday the last of the iron horse railroads visits us as we fly off.  Plan to come early on Friday and enjoy the parade.  This is the only rally that I know of that has moving PZs to watch for daily.

*19, 20 & 21 Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce and the surrounding businesses are pleased to host the 2nd San Juan River Balloon Rally.  Balloons will launch from the soccer fields each day and continue down the beautiful San Juan River. *3~5 Santa Fe Trails Balloon Rally.  Raton, New Mexico. This beautiful rally in the foothills of northern New Mexico is welcomed by the locals with open arms. Scheduled close the 4th of July weekend

*23~24 Deming Duck Races and Balloon Rally. Balloons, duck racing and a parade. Great family rally

*12~13 Elephant Butte Balloon Regatta This unique rally hosts not only the balloons but a boat and skydiving show. Balloon competition includes flying off the Elephant Butte lake shoreline, exchanging a baton with the designated skipper and flying on to the target.

*3~11 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.  The granddaddy of all balloon rallies. This year it celebrates it's 37th year.  Held each year the first full week of October and hosts over 700 balloons from around the world.

14~24 Festival Internacional de Globos, a.c. This is the fourth year and this series of rallies in Mexico, Starting in Torreon then to Durango Saltillo La Laguna and Aguascalientes.  Come for one rally or all.  Mexico is a beautiful place to  fly and the locals are unbelievably friendly.

*6~7 Red Rock Balloon Rally.  This is our favorite rally.  Held in the Red Rock State Park.  The majestic rocks are home to some of the most beautiful flying in New Mexico
